NumbersUSA explains Paul Ryan's open borders stance
By Dave Gorak, 07/31/2013
In a July 29 interview with Breitbart News, NumbersUSA founder and President Roy Beck addressed Rep. Paul Ryan's affinity for open borders.
He (Ryan) is not part of the "patriotic libertarianism" wing that recognizes the importance of borders, Beck said.
"I don't mean to say he hates America, or anything like that," Beck said. "He just doesn't believe borders are that important."
According to Beck, Ryan believes that "if you are going to have goods going back and forth across the border you ought to have people--workers--going back and forth."
This hardly can be viewed as good news by the residents of the 1st Congressional District that Ryan "represents" and where unemployment stands at 8.4 percent.
During his recent immigration townhall meeting in Racine that included illegal aliens - aka "undocumented Americans" -and their advocates, Ryan offered no explanation as to how any the nation's unemployed would benefit from giving work permits to 11 million people who have no right to be here but who he thinks are entitled to the "American Dream."
