NumbersUSA shines bright light on GOP enemies of E-Verify: Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy
President Obama, who for months has been telling us that jobs for Americans are a "top priority," doesn't need members of his own "immigrant-friendly" party to keep your unemployed friends and neighbors out of work.
That's because he has the Republican leadership carrying water carrying water for him as he continues to show the American people that if Congress won't play ball with him in granting amnesty to 11 million illegal aliens, he'll find another way to do it.
There are an estimated 20 million Americans who are unable to find full-time work while our lame federal government, acting under the orders of the Obama White House, is permitting 7 million illegals to remain in their non-farming jobs, jobs that rightfully belong to our own citizens, including returning veterans.
Making E-Verify mandatory for all employers, which is what will happen when The Legal Workforce Act becomes law, would begin removing illegals from these jobs so they could be given to our own citizens who are beginning to wonder whether they also are entitled to search for a better life. The bill, which is expected to easily pass the House and probably the Senate, has gone nowhere since its approval last year by the House Judiciary Committee thanks to House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy.
Why are these three political panty waists leaving millions of their jobless fellow citizens twisting in the wind?
