"Progressive" Wisconsin editor prefers foreign workers over Americans

John Nichols, associate editor of the The Capital Times in Madison, Wis., opines that former Sen. Russ Feingold or "someone with the same values," should replace retiring Senator Herb Kohl.

I've never been able to get an answer from Nichols or those calling themselves "progressive" to explain what is so progressive about the federal government permitting 8 million illegal aliens to keep their jobs and each month continuing to issue 125,000 work permits to foreigners while 22 million unemployed Americans are unable to find full-time work.

Ironically, Nichols also includes as a role model for progressives Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson , who said people who say they are for the environment but against restricting immigration are "phonies."
