Wisconsin 'lawmakers' lying through their teeth

When you consider how the Republican Party broke its promise to fight President Obama's lawless executive amnesty for nearly 5 million illegals that includes work permits and Social Security numbers, it's not hard to understand why many Americans rightfully believe that their vote doesn't matter.  Who are we to trust and believe

Before the mid-term elections, the GOP ran thousands of ads critical of Obama's unilateral dismantling of our immigration laws but then many of its members voted to fund his amnesty that was part of the 2015 CRomnibus federal spending bill.  Sen. Ron Johnson was among those Republicans who criticized the President before the election but then lived up to the party's traditional cheap foreign labor, anti-American worker reputation.

Here is what Johnson said Nov. 20:   "President Obama declared a series of immigration actions through executive fiat. He has dictated his own laws -- cutting out the American people and Congress -- and then hypocritically declared he wants to debate the issue in good faith. ... Over the last two years, President Obama has repeatedly stated that he does not have the constitutional authority to change immigration laws unilaterally."

In the House, Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA), who years ago established himself as a fierce opponent of illegal immigration and blasted Obama's arrogance, also voted for CRombinus.  Unlike Johnson, however, Barletta had the courage to explain his actions on his web site that includes immigration among those issues he deems critical.

It's been said those people who believe the tough talk from Republicans that they are going to, in the words of the milquetoast House Speaker John Boehner, fight this amnesty "tooth and nail" in the new Congress also believe that Pro Wrestling is real.

To put it another way, Republicans who say they will attack Obama's amnesty in January are as believable as those Democrats like Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) who still claim to be looking out for American workers.  Both parties are lying through their teeth, and they know it.  A lot of Americans also know it, but they choose to remain silent while the country that allows them to live as well as they do continues to crumble into a pile of "progressive" rubble.

What can be said about an electorate that gives their votes to Members of Congress in order to remain in power to continue representing everyone's interests but theirs?
